A precise analysis of your face, and a plan to improve it without surgery.

We measure 175 facial markers from four photos, compare them with people of your age, sex and ancestry, and write you a non-surgical protocol. Results in 72 hours, with a new analysis every month.

01Sample report

This is what a Lucent report looks like.

A sample report for the person in the video above. Yours has the same sections, the same 175 measurements and the same level of detail.

Lucent analysis·Sample report

F · 25–34 · East Asian · 4 photos · 175 markers

ABC

Compared with women aged 25–34 of East Asian ancestry. Percentiles place her within that group. Where a marker has a favourable direction, higher is better; otherwise it is descriptive.

Written finding

Under-eye area

Darkness sits at the 27th percentile for your reference group and puffiness at the 33rd. The darkness is mostly shadow cast by mild lower-lid puffiness rather than pigment: it lightens toward the outer corner, and the skin itself carries little brown tone. Vascularity is unremarkable.

That changes what will help. Products aimed at pigment would do little here. The protocol targets the cause instead: a fixed sleep window, sleeping with the head slightly raised, and a morning caffeine eye product to reduce fluid. Expected movement if the sleep step is kept: 10–15 percentile points by the second month, visible in your monthly comparison.

02Research

Appearance measurably affects pay, first impressions and how people are treated.

These findings come from peer-reviewed studies and meta-analyses. Each one links to its source.

03Why monthly

A yearly report can't show you which changes are working.

Most facial analysis services send one report a year, weeks after you upload your photos. Lucent measures you every month, so you can see which parts of your routine are making a difference and drop the ones that aren't.

05Your report

Every result comes with specific next steps.

Your report explains each measurement, then turns it into actions: what to do, what it costs, how long it takes, and which marker it should change.

Analysis
Every marker, what it means for your face, and where you sit relative to your reference group.
Protocol
Specific steps ranked by expected impact, each with a cost, a schedule and a realistic timeline. All non-surgical, all within your budget.
Visualizations
Before-and-after images of your own photos showing what the recommended changes look like.
Monthly re-analysis
New photos each month, a new analysis, and a protocol adjusted to what the measurements show.

07Why not a chatbot

Why not just upload a selfie to ChatGPT?

You can, and you'll get a kind paragraph. We use frontier vision models too, and say so. What you pay for is everything around the model.

What a chatbot typically says

The sample subject's selfie

You have a lovely, well-balanced face with nice symmetry and healthy-looking skin. To enhance your natural beauty, consider a consistent skincare routine with sunscreen, staying hydrated and getting enough sleep. A brow gel could add definition. Remember, confidence is the most attractive feature of all.

Fig. 6 — Left, a representative chatbot reply to the sample subject’s photo. Right, three eye rows and the written finding from the sample report in Fig. 1.
Measured, not eyeballed
Landmarks are placed on each photo first. Ratios, angles and symmetry are computed from them, and the model interprets numbers it did not make up.
Percentiles, not a pep talk
A 2026 pre-registered study of 2,513 people found that Claude, GPT, Gemini and Grok all rate faces more favourably than humans do, but rank faces the same way humans do. A percentile is a rank. We compare you with your reference group, so the model's optimism never reaches your report. Grandas et al. (2026). Beauty is in the AI of the beholder: MLLMs systematically overrate facial attractiveness. arXiv:2609.02512.
The same protocol every month
Same four angles, same measurement definitions, same reference group. A chatbot answers differently each time you ask. A Lucent analysis can be compared with last month's.
Reasoning you can check
Each finding states the measurement and the range it was compared with, so you can see how a conclusion was reached and disagree with it.

09Commitments

What we will and won't do

We don't recommend surgery
Every recommendation is non-surgical. In-clinic options are marked as something to discuss with a licensed provider.
We don't inflate scores
Off-the-shelf AI models rate faces more generously than people do. We report measurements and percentiles instead of a single score.
Your photos stay private
They're stored privately, used only for your analysis and never used to train AI models. We delete everything on request.
We show our work
Every marker comes with the measurement behind it and the range it was compared with, so you can check the reasoning rather than take a verdict on trust.

11Questions

Frequently asked questions

What exactly do I get?

A written analysis of 175 facial markers, a non-surgical protocol (specific steps, products and habits with costs and timelines, ranked by expected impact) and before-and-after visualizations of your recommended changes. Every month you upload new photos and get a fresh analysis showing what has changed.

How fast will I get my results?

Within 72 hours of uploading your photos, every month. Your report arrives by email, and each later analysis is delivered on the same schedule.

Isn't this just ChatGPT with extra steps?

A chatbot gives you an opinion. Lucent gives you measurements. Landmarks are placed on your photos first and every ratio, angle and symmetry value is computed from them, then reported as a percentile against people of your sex, age and ancestry. Chatbots are documented to rate faces more favourably than people do, but they rank faces the way people do, and a percentile is a rank, so that optimism never reaches your report. The same four angles and definitions every month also mean each analysis can be compared with the last. Section 07 shows the difference side by side.

How accurate are the visualizations?

They're made from your own photos to show what the recommended changes look like. They keep your features, skin texture and lighting unchanged apart from the changes themselves.

Do you recommend surgery?

No. Every recommendation is non-surgical. If an in-clinic option such as laser or microneedling could help and you've said you're open to it, we flag it as something to discuss with a licensed provider.

Is this medical advice?

No. Lucent is an aesthetic analysis and planning service, not a medical provider. Talk to a doctor or dermatologist before starting any treatment, medication or procedure, and about any skin condition that worries you.

What photos do I need?

Four: front-facing neutral, front-facing smiling, left profile and right profile. Take them in even daylight, without filters or heavy makeup. The upload screen walks you through each one.

What happens to my photos?

They're stored privately, used only to produce your analysis, and never used to train AI models. Email us and we'll delete your photos and data.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time. Your membership stays active until the end of the year you have paid for, and it will not renew.

Who is Lucent for?

Adults 18 and over who want a clear, honest picture of their face and a practical plan to look their best without surgery.

Your first analysis arrives within 72 hours of uploading your photos.
